AVADirect Now Lists Clevo P370EM 17.3" Core i7 SLI/Crossfire Gaming Notebook

Posted: Aug 29, 2012 12:37 am | More Press Releases: Laptops

AVADirect, a leading provider of custom notebooks, is now listing one of the most powerful core i7 Gaming Notebooks to date.

For those following the release of the Clevo Ivy Bridge notebook models this year, you are well aware of the situation surrounding the P270WM; a desktop replacement designed to support a desktop socket 2011 processor, included with an X79 chipset-based motherboard. After several months of testing, Clevo decided to postpone release based on less-than-satisfactory results. Although this was a disappointment to many, Clevo did not give up. The outcome is Clevo's P370EM notebook, and it will provide enough performance over previous models to leave enthusiasts drooling over the specifications and options AVADirect offers.

Based off of the Intel HM77 chipset, AVADirect's Clevo P370EM shows several improvements where previous Clevo Gaming Notebooks were slightly lacking, whether it be design, functionality, or performance. The LED-Backlit 17.3" Full HD screen is offered in both matte (by default) or glossy. Support for up to 32GB of RAM is a note-worthy option when combined with Intel Core i5/i7 dual- or quad-core generation 3 Ivy Bridge processors. The improved chassis design creates room for a newly designed cooling system that ensures temperatures will be at their best, even under heavy loads. The logical reasoning behind this change of cooling design is owed to mobile SLI or Crossfire graphics card support. AVADirect offers the choice of the AMD ATI 7970M or the NVIDIA GTX 680M. To improve the experience further, the Clevo P370EM will offer a Sound Blaster X-Fi chipset with 2MBs of on-board RAM, assisting gamers to immerse themselves in the latest gaming titles.

With Clevo P370EM specifications aside, AVADirect will set an example with their offering of the 17.3" Core i7 SLI/Crossfire Gaming Notebook by continuing to provide options beyond what is offered through competitors. Custom options, such as paint jobs, dual-boot configurations, and system partitions will provide a truly unique and personal product that leaves individuals with a sense of exceptional care through AVADirect's unmatched attention to detail. AVADirect will begin to offer the P370EM sometime in September this year. Currently, the P370EM product page reads "This gaming laptop is an upcoming product and will be available for sale soon. Contact us for more details." Once available, "Add To Cart" options will be added to the P370EM product page, and AVADirect may decide to take pre-orders at any given time. Pricing is not available at this time, but will be updated upon the release date.
