AVADirect Now Offers Mini-SSDs For Notebooks

Posted: Mar 6, 2012 4:35 am | More Press Releases: Storage

AVADirect recently began to offer Mini SATA SSDs for all compatible notebooks. This is an extremely convenient option for those who want massive amounts of storage and fast performance with very little affect to their wallet. These new Mini SSDs offer speeds as high as 220 Mb/s per read/write with TRIM compatibility. The MINI SSD cards are installed in notebooks internally via the mini PCI-E slot, usually where wireless cards have been installed for some time. The reduced size of the mini SSDs provide a form of durability that 2.5 SSDs are not able to match. We will begin to offer these mini SSDs as an option in all appropriate notebook configurations and will continue to update our selection as they are released. This is a very exciting period for notebooks as they continue to become less limited in the amount of performance they can provide next to a desktop.
