AMD Expands AMD Fusion Partner Program

Launches New Commercial Channel and Software Tracks; Unveils Enhanced Partner Portal

SUNNYVALE, Calif. -3/3/2010

AMD (NYSE: AMD) today announced that it is extending the reach of the AMD Fusion Partner Program to include its commercial channel and software partners. Additionally, AMD is launching the AMD Fusion Partner Portal, an all-new partner portal designed specifically with AMD's diverse partner landscape in mind. Through the AMD Fusion Partner Program, AMD provides partners with customized incentives and resources - in the form of personalized tools, training and technical enablement resources - that mesh with their specific business objectives to help them accelerate solutions development and sales, especially when selling all-AMD (AMD CPU, AMD GPU and AMD Chipset) solutions.

AMD Fusion Partner Program for Commercial Partners
The AMD Fusion Partner Program commercial track focuses on partners that resell OEM solutions and systems to commercial end users to provide their customers with complete platform solutions. The expanded program is designed to deliver a unique, competitive approach to engage partners in SMB, enterprise and public sectors by:

- Offering attractive co-marketing opportunities to multi-national corporations (MNC), software and channel partners
- Focusing heavily on solution-based offerings through increased collaboration with OEMs and software partners
- Delivering partner engagement that is highly customized to a partner's specific business model

Partners will be placed into one of three business tracks designed to align programs and offerings with partner business models: system distributors, commercial volume resellers or commercial solution providers. To achieve meaningful differentiation and a customized program for each partner, all partners under the AMD Fusion Partner Program will also be placed in one of three tiers: Elite, Premier or Select.

AMD Fusion Partner Program for Software Partners

The software partner track of the AMD Fusion Partner Program provides software companies and developers with technology enablement, development resources and marketing support to help them deliver compelling technology and innovative solutions based on AMD technology - further strengthening their business and enabling them to expand their sales network through AMD's extensive ecosystem.

The software track of the AMD Fusion Partner Program provides more structure and resource to allow software developers to connect in communities of similar interest and enhance their business, and also places partners across three tiers. Focused on leading the ecosystem, AMD actively collaborates with more than 75 software partners and the 130,000+ active members of AMD's Developer Central online community.

Redesigned Partner Portal
Launching later this month AMD's newly redesigned AMD Fusion Partner Portal will provide one central yet customized location where partners can access virtually everything they need to market and sell AMD products more effectively: training materials; online marketing materials; and product and program information. The portal is customized by business track so each partner will be quickly directed to the most appropriate resources.
