NMP-1000 Network Multimedia Player
The NMP-1000 network multimedia player is the home networked appliance for playing the videos, photos, and music on the internal hard drive or external storage devices, or network playback of the digital contents from the PCs or NAS on your home network. The player can be seamlessly integrated with TV and stereo system for playing your digital collections in the living room or anywhere at home.
The NMP-1000 supports high-definition (1920 x 1280, 1080p) contents and almost all popular formats of media files such as MKV(H.264), M2TS & BDMV (Blu-ray), ISO and most popular codecs. For audiophiles, it also supports Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD audio passthrough with rich and lossless surround sound effects through your Hi-Fi systems. Moreover, you can access Flickr photos and SHOUTcast Internet radios and play them on your HDTV/ stereo system. The NMP-1000 can be connected to the wireless network with USB wireless adaptor (802.11b/g/n). It also offers NAS features, e.g. file server, FTP server, and PC-less BT/ FTP/ HTTP download.
In the upcoming firmware release, the NMP-1000 will support Picasa Web Albums to enable the users to explore and view the cloud-stored pictures on the TV. The usability will also be highly enhanced by the new features, such as "Multiple Resume", "Photo Slideshow with Background Music", "Quick Seek", "On-screen Adjustment of Subtitle and Display Attribute", and "Online Firmware Upgrade".

QNAP Turbo NAS Series
The powerful management software V3.2
The latest Turbo NAS firmware version 3.2 adds enhanced iSCSI services for the most affordable, competitive, and secure deployment of QNAP Turbo NAS servers in the virtualized and clustered IT infrastructure. Other remarkable features include the new backup options for disaster recovery such as Apple © Time Machine support and (Amazon S3 cloud-based storage backup, DFS (Shared Folder Aggregation), import of user list, and customizable Daylight Saving Time. The IPv6 Internet Protocol has also been incorporated for future networking evolution. Moreover, the Web File Manager 2 features an entirely redesigned user interface and functionality for improved file sharing and management. WebDAV is also available for the users to collaboratively share, access, and edit files over HTTP and HTTPs.

The Turbo NAS comes along with the powerful software V3.2 which supports advanced iSCSI services, storage deployment in the virtualized and clustered environments, Apple © Time Machine backup, DST support, new Web File Manger 2. Other powerful features include dual Giga LAN, RAID 0/ 1/ 5/ 6/ 5 + hot spare/ 6 + hot spare configurations, Online RAID Capacity Expansion and Online RAID Level Migration, iSCSI target service with Thin Provisioning, Virtual Disk Drive support, AES 256-bit volume-based encryption, etc. This series adopts vertical hard drive mounting which allows vertical air convection for excellent heat dissipation. The TS-809 Pro and TS-809U-RP are powered by Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz CPU and 2GB DDRII memory. They offer RAID 0/ 1/ 5/ 6/ 5 + hot spare, Online RAID Capacity Expansion, Online RAID Level Migration, iSCSI with Thin Provisioning, Virtual Disk Drive support, AES 256-bit volume-based encryption, exclusive QNAP RAID recovery, automatic policy-based IP blocking, instant SMS and email alert, etc. The TS-809U-RP is the 2U chassis NAS with two power supply units, each of which is capable of supplying the power for the NAS independently to allow highly stable system operation 24x7. The TS-809 Pro and TS-809U-RP have passed VMware Ready certifications that guarantee its compatibility for VMware solution.
SS-439 Pro and SS-839 Pro Turbo NAS (2.5-inch SATA HDD supported)
The 4-bay SS-439 Pro and 8-bay SS-839 Pro are the Turbo NAS models which support 2.5-inch SATA hard drives. They are the energy-saving and quiet storage solutions designed to operate 24x7 at home or in the office environment. The NAS is compatible with Linux, UNIX, Mac, and Windows OS and offers numerous applications, e.g. file server, FTP server, printer server, web server (with phpMyAdmin, MySQL, SQLite, Joomla!).
TS-219P / TS-419P
The TS-219P and TS-419P Turbo NAS are designed for the small business and home users who are eager for an extremely large storage centre to store, back up, and share thousands of multimedia files or expand the capacity of their current storage device. The TS-219P and TS-419P are compatible with both 2.5-inch and 3.5-inch hard drives. Other advanced features include automatic policy-based IP blocking, schedule power on/ off, 2 IP cameras for network surveillance, UPnP/DLNA media server, and high speed BT/FTP/HTTP download, etc.
