ZOTAC Kicks off ZOTAC Cup 2.0

 

ZOTAC Cup 2.0 launches with two new games

 

HONG KONG - Apr. 7, 2009 - ZOTAC International, an award-winning manufacturer of graphics cards and motherboards, today announces the latest round of the ZOTAC Cup online gaming tournament - ZOTAC Cup 2.0. The new ZOTAC Cup 2.0 expands the gaming competition to add two more games for even more chances to put your gaming skills to the test to win prizes.

 

New to the ZOTAC Cup 2.0 is the addition of StarCraft: Brood War and DotA, a popular custom map for WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne, in addition to the current Warcraft III and FIFA '09 tournaments.

"The gaming community is important to us at ZOTAC. We've had great success with the existing WarCraft III and FIFA '09 cups that have been occurring every weekend for the past year. We're adding StarCraft: Brood War and DotA cups due to the large amount requests from our ZOTAC Cup participations," said Carsten Berger, marketing director, ZOTAC International.

The new StarCraft: Brood War Cup starts every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CET, with the WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne Cup starting right afterwards at 3:00 p.m. CET. Football fans can join the FIFA '09 Cup Sundays at 12:00 p.m. CET. DotA fans can join the DotA Cup every Monday at 6:00 p.m. CET.

Registration for the StarCraft: Brood War and FIFA '09 Cups open on Apr. 11, with the tournament beginning on Apr. 18 and 19. WarCraft III and DotA players do not have to pre-register as the cups are continuous and occur every weekend.
