ASUS today announced the Cerberus V2 gaming headset and Cerberus Mech RGB mechanical gaming keyboard, the latest gaming peripherals in the best-selling Cerberus series. Cerberus V2 - the long-awaited follow-up to the popular Cerberus gaming headset - features ASUS Essence drivers for improved bass-rich audio quality, a new stainless-steel headband and wrap-around ear cushions that offer improved durability and comfort, and wide compatibility with PC, Mac, gaming consoles, and mobile devices.

The Cerberus Mech RGB mechanical gaming keyboard features durable, mechanical key switches that provide lightning-fast response and have a 70-million-click lifespan for endurance under intense gaming action. Cerberus V2 features ASUS Essence drivers that deliver pristine, high-fidelity audio, taking games to immersive new heights with impactful, lifelike sound effects and cinematic music. ASUS engineers reduced the size of the drivers from 60mm in the original Cerberus to 53mm in Cerberus V2, allowing larger sound chambers for richer, more natural sound. Combined with the drivers' wide frequency response that delivers hard-hitting bass and clear, detailed middle and high frequencies, the outstanding sound quality of Cerberus V2 makes it not only great for gaming but also for listening to music.

Cerberus V2 is built with a durable, stainless-steel outer headband, a comfortable padded inner headband and soft, wrap-around ear cushions that are ideal for long gaming and music-listening sessions. The ear cushions are 30 percent larger than the original Cerberus and provide 50-percent-better sound insulation for better gaming immersion.

An included four-pole audio/mic combined connector allows Cerberus V2 to be used with PC, Mac, gaming consoles, and mobile devices, and an audio/mic splitter adapter enables use with dual-port devices, such as motherboards and certain laptop models. Cerberus Mech RGB is built with fully mechanical Kaihua RGB switches - Red, Blue, Brown and Black - that provide tactile, lightning-fast response and have an ultra-durable lifespan of up to 70-million keystrokes. Full anti-ghosting and N-key rollover (NKRO) technology ensures that every keystroke is logged, even when multiple keys are pressed simultaneously.
