Coca-Cola is getting behind this month's release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and what better way to celebrate the launch than with light-up Star Wars-themed Coca-Cola bottles.

These Star Wars-themed Coca-Cola bottles use OLED's for lightsabers

Coca-Cola took to their Instagram account to release a video showcasing their new line of Star Wars-themed Coca-Cola bottles. So what's so special about this? These Rey and Kylo-Ren Coca-Cola bottles light-up when their label is touched, triggering the OLED lights and activating the lightsabers.

The labels were designed by a German company called Inuru, who have equipped each label with a built-in printed battery. When a user touches the label, the circuit that is connected to the OLED's is completed, sending electricity to the lightsabers. Inuru says that each label can be used a minimum of 500 times before the battery runs out. Unfortunately, Coca-Cola is only releasing 8,000 of these limited edition bottles, and they are only available in Singapore between December 6th to December 22nd.

This Witcher TV show fight scene video puts Game of Thrones' to shame

Jak Connor | Dec 7, 2019 1:40 AM CST

If you haven't been keeping up with the Witcher TV show news, critics have said that the fight scenes in the show 'make Game of Thrones fights look awful' -- now we can take a look for ourselves.

This Witcher TV show fight scene video puts Game of Thrones' to shame

Netflix has released an extremely short teaser clip of Geralt of Rivia doing what he does best, hunting and killing victims. The video can be seen above, and from what we can see, it appears Geralt, played by Man of Steel's Henry Cavill, is in a courtroom, and something goes badly wrong. What appears to be the ruler of the courtroom orders her men to kill Geralt and his friend, and that's where she made a mistake.

Choreography wise, Cavill has got Geralt's graceful yet brutal fighting style down packed - this an extremely important part for Witcher fans as Geralt and Witchers, in general, have a particular fighting style. Geralt cuts through the men that approach him like a warm knife going through butter. After seeing this fight scene hype has increased even more for the shows expected arrive on December 20th.

Dr. Disrespect is getting a TV show that exposes doc's origin story

Derek Strickland | Dec 6, 2019 4:23 PM CST

Famous ill-tempered Twitch streamer Dr. Disrespect is getting his very own TV show.

Dr. Disrespect is getting a TV show that exposes doc's origin story

The show itself is being produced by Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman's Skybound Entertainment, and is goes in a very meta direction by exploring Dr. Disrespect's origin story. It'll be a narrative-driven show that chronicles the macho mullet-earing Blockbuster video game champion's rise to fame. Guy Beahm, the streamer who plays the character, says it'll expose "how the doctor became the doctor."

Right now the project is in very early stages of development and it could animated or live-action. Every Dr. Disrespect stream is basically a show in of itself, so this shouldn't be anything new for Beahm, who hardly ever breaks character when in public or on video.

Maze Runner director scheduled to create new Planet of the Apes movie

Jak Connor | Dec 4, 2019 3:42 AM CST

A new report has revealed that another Planet of the Apes movie is in the works, and its director will be the man behind the camera for The Maze Runner.

Maze Runner director scheduled to create new Planet of the Apes movie

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that Fox has hired Maz Runner director, Wes Ball to develop and direct a brand new Planet of the Apes movie. It's unclear whether or not this movie will be a continuation of the already established franchise or if Fox will decide to reboot the franchise with a fresh director.

The Planet of the Apes franchise has been done many times over. Originally, the first movie in 1968 came from a book by French writer Pierre Boulle. That film's popularity led to sequels being made in TV form, and eventually, in 2001, Tim Burton rebooted the franchise again with Mark Wahlberg. Planet of the Apes got another fresh take in 2011 when Fox released Rise of the Planet of the Apes starring James Franco and Andy Serkis. This sparked two more movies to be made, 2014's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and 2017's War for the Planet of the Apes.

Rick and Morty Season 4 episode 4 teaser video, 'Morty gets a dragon'

Jak Connor | Dec 4, 2019 3:13 AM CST

Who's excited for the next episode of Rick and Morty? I know I am, which means I'll be tuning into episode 4 this Sunday at 11:30 pm. But first, let's check out the released teaser.

Rick and Morty Season 4 episode 4 teaser video, 'Morty gets a dragon'

The official Twitter account for Rick and Morty released the above teaser for season 4's episode 4, and from the video, we learn that this episode will be based around Morty getting a dragon. We know this from one of two reasons, the video's caption "It's the Morty gets a dragon episode" and Rick saying "and that's the end of the Morty gets a dragon episode".

Summer then asks Rick "are you gonna slay it?", Rick then turns around and says, "first off, I always slay it, queen." Then he says, "and secondly, yes." Does it seem that Rick could be referencing Game of Thrones in that sentence? Regardless, he heads down to the basement where Morty's dragon is (which looks extremely similar to The Hobbits Smaug with all the gold it's sitting on), the dragon then breathes fire at Rick. Rick then sarcastically pretends how he didn't think about how dragons breathe fire and uses a hologram to outsmart the dragon and jump on its back.

There should be a big 'twist' in Rick and Morty Season 4 episode 4/5

Jak Connor | Dec 3, 2019 1:39 AM CST

We are currently waiting for Rick and Morty Season 4, episode 4, and during this small holiday break, theories have been formed together that point towards the next couple of episodes containing a massive twist.

There should be a big 'twist' in Rick and Morty Season 4 episode 4/5

Firstly, if you haven't seen the third episode of season 4, this article will contain spoilers as it will be linking to some events that were shown in that episode. At the end of the third episode, Rick, Morty and Mr. Poopybutthole are on top of Rick's house having a drink, Mr. Poopybutthole says, "owweeee big storm coming", Rick then replies, "could be a twister". Its believed that this "big twister" is not in reference to an actual storm, but instead to the show's storyline, and here's why.

During Comic-Con this year, all of the main voice actors sat down, and one of the questions that they were asked was "What are you most excited for fans to see?". The replies indicated that within the first five episodes of the season, there would be a big moment during a post-credit scene of one of the episodes that would be a huge teaser for season 5. Justin Roiland says, "We have a tag in season 4 that's going to tease some sh*t up for season 5". So what could this "twist" be?
