t-break today has in their test lab the Soltek SL-85DRV3 motherboard which is based on the VIA P4X266A chipset and features the new VT8233A southbridge which supports ATA133 so head on over and check it out.
Over at t-break they check out the new Epox 4SDA+ SiS 645 P4/DDR-333 chipset motherboard which they reckon is an awesome overclocker and think it should be at the top of your list of motherboards for those wanting to build a P4 PC.
Over at amdmb they have a preview of the NVIDIA nForce 415-D Chipset which is just like the 420-D version of the nForce chipset except there is no integrated GeForce 2 graphics core but it has the same TwinBank 128-bit memory architecture as the 420-D as well as the DASP and HyperTransport features.
I'll just update this with several more links.
Ok there are to many of these to break up so these sites look at the P4 "Northwood" (all links go straight to the reviews) :-
[H]ard OCP, VR Zone Hardware, Hot Hardware, SimHQ, Active Hardware, FiringSquad, Digit Life and SLCentral.
While these just deal with the XP 2000+ :-
amdmb, AMD Zone, HEXUS, SimHQ and Active Hardware.
And all the rest look at both :-
Anandtech, LostCiruits, Target PC, The Tech Report, Tom's Hardware, X-bit labs and Ace's Hardware. So I hope you all enjoy the read.
Well Game PC has done it again. First they review the Athlon XP 2000+ before the NDA is lifted now they give you the Intel Pentium 4 "Northwood" 2.0A GHz CPU review so head on over and find out if it's a great improvement as Intel would have us believe.
t-break takes a good look at the new MSI K7D Master motherboard which features AMD's new 762MPX chipset for suport of 2 CPU's but instead of using Athlon MP's they decide to use a couple of Athlon XP's so who said that they wouldn't work with this chipset?
