This week we have teamed up with Plextor who are giving away one of its new and fast M5 Pro Xtreme 256GB SSD drives.
When our own Chris Ramseyer reviewed the M5 Pro Xtreme 256GB he awarded it with our TweakTown Best Features Award, and gave it a high rating of 92%. He had this to say:
"The M5 Pro Xtreme 256GB does cost less than 840 Pro and Vector and that makes up for the slight decrease in performance. All three drives in this capacity size are smoking fast and I doubt anyone would feel a difference while in use. The benchmark tests highlight the micro differences and they appear much larger than what you would notice in the real world, but for some that matters.
Plextor did raise the bar of their products with the new Xtreme drives. The new NAND flash also produces a nice increase in sequential performance, but at the cost of random performance. The sequential increase easily outweighs the small loss of random performance though since you will actually notice the sequential boost."
Who doesn't like free stuff? I know I do, and let's face it, you do too. Google are giving away a slew of devices in their Google Play Favorite Things Sweepstakes, which is unfortunately limited to those based in the US, aged 18 or over, and on Twitter.

What you'll need to do first is follow @Google Play, then choose something you like on the Play Store - this can be an app, a movie, or a magazine. The next step is to tweet a link of the item using the hashtag #favoritethings. The final step will have you complete an official entry form.

In this Twitter weekly giveaway we have teamed up with Corsair to giveaway one of its new Hydro Series H90 and Hydro Series H110 all-in-one CPU liquid coolers. For this giveaway we increase your chances of winning as two winners will be selected for either prize.
In our review of the H110, our cooler editor Chad Sebring had the following to say:
"In the realm of the casual buyers out there, the H110 shines in a different light. It is one of the largest sealed AIO solutions on the market. It does do pretty good, and the results are great compared to a stock cooler. Then there is the fact that a lot of buyers out there also have Corsair cases, PSUs, SSDs, and memory, so why not keep the theme going?
In this type of a situation, I can see someone spending the money and using the H110 to complete the themed build with a bit of bragging rights to having the largest Corsair AIO you can buy."
In this Twitter weekly giveaway we have teamed up with GIGABYTE to giveaway a hot new motherboard. We're talking about just any motherboard; we're talking about the new and impressive X79S-UP5-WIFI. It's an enthusiast-class board with server like features since it uses the impressive high-end Intel C606 Express chipset.
In our review of the X79S-UP5-WIFI, our motherboard editor Shane Baxtor had the following to say:
"When it comes to the features, we've got a strong line up thanks to the eight SAS ports that are brought to the table via the C606 chipset. Along with that we've got all the usual inclusions like USB 3.0 and dual Gigabit networking to name just a few things. The other big feature, though, comes in the bundle via the included WiFi / Bluetooth card that adds another layer of connectivity to the board.
Overall GIGABYTE has put together a really strong motherboard that's a great option for anyone who is looking at going down the path of an LGA 2011 build. The toughest decision when it comes to buying a new high-end PC at the moment is do you go down the LGA 2011 path with a X79 / C606 based chipset or follow the impressive LGA 1155 based CPU's with an Z77 chipset, which has proven itself extremely well."
