Cooler Master Unveils CM Stacker 810 Case

Cooler Master's CM Stacker Chassis attracted much attention when first released around a year ago. But like many cases on the market, there were some little nigglys still to be ironed out if it was considered to reach near perfection for some.

Looks like Cooler Master have been listening to the crowd's feedback. Seeing much potential in the unique CM Stacker design, they've taken it upon themselves to better the case with a new version, the CM Stacker 810 which Cooler Master unveiled yesterday.

Cooler Master went back to the drawing boards after introducing the CM Stacker a year ago, and we have managed to incorporate the essential features of a server from the existing CM-Stacker to create the powerful CM-Stacker 810. The CM-Stacker 810 supports up to 4 CPU motherboards ranging from Micro-ATX to full size Extended-ATX. Unique power supply cage re-design to fully support standard ATX or redundant power supplies. We maximized the airflow by reconstructing the motherboard tray to support two 120mm super silent exhaust fans. Back from the root, CM-Stacker 810 will continue to have the ability to utilize up to three 120mm fan from the 4-in-3 Device Modules.

CoolerMaster Aero 7 catches on fire?!

CoolerMaster HK has issued a recall for one of their latest coolers according to a story over at Warp2Search. Many owners of the Aero 7 CPU cooler are reporting all types of bizarre problems with the product such as sudden scratches on the cooler material up to it actually catching on fire!

This is a very serious issue, if you use an Aero 7 owner I would look at replacing it right away and checking with your supplier for a refund or replacement with the newer Aero 7+ which apparently fix these strange problems.

To HK Aero 7 owner only: due to the design problem, our previous Aero 7 fan will potentially be damaged after certain amount of usage. We have noticed the problem and released the improved Aero 7+ to replace Aero 7. To be safe and this is a recall notice, we advise you to take your Aero 7 to our office before July 15th to exchange with Aero 7+. Should you have any inquiry please feel free to contact us.

CoolerMaser release new HSF

Benny from CoolerMaster let us know about the release of their newest heatsink for the Athlon platform, the attractive looking HAC-V81. It's similar to many of their previous model products, with the exception of a few new cool ideas to help give the product a little more spot light in the ever growing market.

You have such things as fan control speed options from 2,500 RPM to 4,800 RPM and a new and stylish looking fan grill which CoolerMaster claim reduces noise.

I've posted information and pictures of the HAC-V81 HSF in our New Products Forum for those interested.

Kingwin Triple Fan 450 watt ATX PSU & Thermaltake Hardcano 5 Reviews

For those of you in need of a new power supply for that new setup or because the old one just isn't up to the task anymore might like to head over to Overclocker Cafe and check out their review of Kingwin's Triple Fan 450w PSU.

The selector switch gives you the option of auto, low, and medium. With the selector switch set to 'medium' the unit was anything but silent. Not annoying just very noticeable. In low mode, things were pretty much silent. Set in the auto position, the fan speed is controlled by a temperature probe embedded in the PSU's heatsink.
More information at Overclocker Cafe

This one maybe a little short but for those looking at buying Thermaltake's Hardcano 5 may find the information that PCReviewSpot has is more than enough to make that decission on whether to buy one or not.

As you can see in the graphs, the fan is capable of keeping the drive a full 7C below what it would normally be. This 7C could translate into a few years more of life for your drive! Overall this is a great product that has a great many uses. You can hook up virtually any fan to the fan switch, the thermal probe can be used to record temperatures on a limitless amount of things such as RAM, hard drives, cpu's, gpu's, north bridge chips, and even ambient case temps.

Codegen ATX-6061 and ATX-6063 Midtower Cases

Over at Dan's Data today, Dan takes a look at two cases from Codegen that some people out their may like the look of so go and have a gander.

At a glance, you'd say these were fairly expensive tweaker-cases, since two of them have aluminium panels and three of them have side windows to show off the computer's guts. The ones with windows even come with a blue cold cathode fluorescent light (CCFL) as part of the package.
But these Codegen cases are actually cheapies.
