Computex 2016 - The very spirit of Computex is all about showing today's technology pushed to incredible new limits, and G.Skill served up some mind-boggling awesomeness with its TridentZ DDR4 RAM demo.

G.SKILL stacks up a monstrous 128GB DDR4-3466 RAM in quad-channel demo

Not content with achieving the world's first 5GHz DDR4 overclock, or holding the top seven RAM speed records, G.Skill decided to drop even more jaws by showing off an insane demo rig with 128GB of TridentZ DDR4 RAM. G.Skill packed in 8x 16GB DDR4 3466MHz TridentZ RAM modules onto a MSI X99A Godlike Gaming Carbon motherboard fastened with Intel's new Core i7 6950X powerhouse CPU to show us the things dreams are made of.

G.Skill's 16GB TridentZ DDR4-3466 RAM was put in a quad-channel configuration to hit its targeted speeds, with CAS timings clocked at 16-16-16-36. The hardware-maker revealed its TridentZ DDR4-3466 RAM last week.

Corsair adds more premium to Dominator Platinum Special Edition RAM

Computex 2016 -- Do you enjoy premium RAM? Would you like an extra dose of premium in your premium RAM? Corsair is granting your wish at Computex, debuting Dominator Platinum Special Edition DDR4 RAM with an extra touch of class, and a limited supply of kits.

We were pretty dazzled by Corsair's Vengeance LED kits, but the new Dominator Platinum Special Edition takes their already-premium DDR4 and ups the ante a bit by adding a pair of unique finishes. The DDR4 modules class up your rig with new "Blackout" brushed aluminum and Chrome finishes.

A Corsair representative at Computex also told us these kits will be limited to quantities of 500 when they launch in Q3 2016.

Corsair shows off Vengeance LED DDR4 RAM, capable of 4333MHz

Computex 2016 -- Corsair debuted some slick new Vengeance DDR4 RAM in Taipei this week featuring LED lighting, ample overclocking headroom, and cherry-picked Samsung ICs. I'm not normally so enamored with RAM, but these are something special. I mean look at them!

Corsair's Vengeance LED series is capable of speeds up to 4300MHz using X99 or X100 motherboards, which distinguishes these as Corsair's fastest kit ever thanks to specially selected Samsung ICs. The kits support XMP 2.0, some aggressive looking heat spreaders, and will light up your case in customizable red or white colors that breathe while in use.

Computex 2016 - On the heels of GALAX's new colorful Gamer Series DDR4 RAM announcement, the hardware-maker has now unveiled its new premium ultra-performance DDR4 system memory aimed at enthusiast gamers.

GALAX shows off Hall of Fame 4000MHz DDR4 RAM

GALAX's new Hall of Fame DDR4 RAM hits an impressive frequency of 4000MHz, sporting a pristine alabaster PCB with pulsing white LED's upon the stylish heatspreaders. The modules come in 4GB and 8GB single sticks with dual-channel kits available in 8GB and 16GB arrangements.

The HOF DDR4-4000 modules sport CAS latency timings of 19-25-25-45, and draw 1.4V of power. All-in-all GALAX's new Hall of Fame RAM matches high-speed performance with eye-catching flair, especially if you're looking for top-of-the-line RAM with a snazzy white paintjob. GALAX has yet to reveal pricing or availability details just yet.

Computex 2016 - GALAX has revealed its colorful new lineup of Game Series DDR4 RAM modules aimed at combining performance with accessibility.

GALAX unveils new prismatic Gamer Series DDR4 RAM lineup

At the Computex show floor in Taipei, hardware-maker GALAX unveiled a veritable galaxy of prismatic DDR4 RAM sticks in its new Game Series line. The modules are widely varying in speeds and sizes, with frequencies ranging from 2133MHz, 2400MHz, 2666MHz, 2800MHz, and 3000MHz. Single module densities include 4GB, 8GB, 16GB which are available in 8GB, 16GB and 32GB kits. Power draw for the GALAX Game Series DDR4 RAM ranges from 1.2V to 1.35V, and CAS timings are CL 15-15-35 for the 2133MHz - 2666MHz modules, whereas the 2800MHz and 3000MHz sticks have a latency of 16-16-16-36.

Each of the Game Series DDR4 modules sport LED's that match the color of each stick's head spreader, and the lights pulsate to give a unique "breathing" effect for extra flair. GALAX hasn't announced official pricing or availability, but we'll be sure to keep you updated when more information comes to light.

GeIL reveals new EVO FORZA DDR4 3866MHz RAM

Computex 2016 - GeIL has announced its new EVO FORZA line up of performance DDR4 RAM memory modules, offering performance-grade frequencies of up to 3866MHz with today's latest Z170 and X99 platforms.

GeIL reveals new EVO FORZA DDR4 3866MHz RAM

GeIL's new EVO FORZA DDR4 RAM comes in a variety of sizes including 4GB, 8GB and 16GB modules packed in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB kits, with frequencies ranging from 2666 MHz to 3866MHz. Latency and CAS timings have yet to be revealed, but the RAM pulls in 1.2V to 1.4V and is outfitted with head spreaders designed with GeIL's Maximum Thermal Conduction & Dissipation (MTCD) technology.

The EVO FORZA DDR4 RAM modules have full Intel XMP 2.0 profile support and are dual- and quad-channel compatible. Each kit comes with the standard GeIL lifetime warranty, and the company will announce more details at Computex. Check below for current specifications.

G.Skill's TridentZ DDR4 RAM overclocked to an insane 5GHz

G.Skill has announced that it's TridentZ RAM is the first DDR4 modules to hit the 5GHz barrier, setting a new world speed record on the Skylake platform.

Using liquid nitrogen cooling, MSI's Taiwanese overclocker Toppc pushed a single 4GB stick of G.Skill's TridentZ 2133 MHz DDR4 RAM to an insane 2501MHz (5002.4MHz effective) in single-channel configuration. HWBOT verified the new speed record, and you can check out the full build on CPU-Z.

Toppc chose MSI's mini-ITX Z170I GAMING PRO AC motherboard for the record-breaking overclock, along with an Intel Skylake Core i5-6600K CPU. Hitting the 5GHz barrier is a monumental achievement for G.Skill, as well as MSI and even Samsung, who supplies TridentZ's DDR4 IC's. G.Skill now holds the world's top seven DDR4 speed records and is confident that this is just the beginning.

Corsair's custom-built Dominator Platinum RAM for ASUS ROG announced

Computex 2016 - Corsair has just announced a custom-built kit of RAM, with their new Dominator Platinum ROG Edition kit (CMD16GX4M4B3200C16-ROG) featuring 4 x DDR4 modules for quad-channel goodness, at up to 3200MHz with 16-18-18-36 timings, at 1.35V.

The new modules are built for Intel's new Skylake-S processors, for the Intel Z170 chipset, and more specifically, ASUS ROG-based motherboards. When installed into a Z170-based ASUS ROG motherboard, the Corsair Dominator Platinum ROG Edition RAM kicks up its frequency to 3333MHz.

Corsair has used aluminum heatspreaders and customizable LED lighting on the new DDR4 kit, with a slick black/red style to match the look of ASUS ROG motherboards. Corsair is setting the price at $224.99 without taxes in the US, which is much more expensive than competing kits from other manufacturers, and even alternative Corsair kits.

G.Skill's new Trident Z DDR4 RAM hits frequencies of 4266MHz

G.Skill have always been at the bleeding edge of RAM frequencies, with the company unveiling its new flagship Trident Z DDR4 memory kits. There are 9 kits in total, ranging between 16GB and 64GB capacities.

The new Trident Z line from G.Skill uses Samsung's ultra high-performance DDR4 8Gb ICs, ensuring some of the highest frequencies we've ever seen. G.Skill's flagship 16GB DDR4-4266MHz Trident Z kit is a blistering fast kit of RAM, requiring 1.35V for its 4266MHz speeds at 19-23-23-42 latencies.

Below this flagship Trident Z kit are the DDR4-3466MHz models with 14-14-14-34 latencies in 16GB (2x8GB) and 32GB (4x8GB or 2x16GB), as well as 64GB kits (4x16GB), with all of the kits requiring 1.35V of power. The lower-end DDR4-3200MHz Trident Z kits have latencies of 13-13-13-33, with 1.35V of power required.

G.SKILL reveals 32GB DDR4 laptop memory clocked at 3000MHz

G.SKILL today revealed its latest high-performance memory kits aimed at the laptop and small form-factor PC crowd, bringing blazing-fast speeds and low voltage and low-latency timings to the SO-DIMM range.

G.SKILL reveals 32GB DDR4 laptop memory clocked at 3000MHz

G.SKILL's new Ripjaws memory kits pack up to 32GB (16GBx2) of SO-DIMM DDR4 RAM clocked at a rip-roaring 3000MHz, hitting a new maximum threshold for laptop/SFF builds. The modules only draw 1.2V as opposed to the usual 1.35V consumption for DDR4 RAM, making an ideal power-efficient memory solution for gaming laptops.

The new Ripjaws SO-DIMM RAM modules have CL-15-18-18-43 latency timings and come in 8GB, 16GB (8GBx2 or 16GBx1), and 32GB (16GBx2) configurations. The kits will be available later this month, and pricing has yet to be revealed.
