AORUS is at it again with the world's most poweful 15" laptop

Computex 2015 - Yesterday (local time) we covered the release of AUROS' new 17" slim laptop that boasts the most powerful performance in the world, including two NVIDIA GeForce 970m video cards and measuring just 0.9 inches thick. Today this new brand is at it again, making claim to having produced the "earth's most powerful 15 inch" laptop.

Complete with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M SLI setup coupled with NVIDIA G-Sync, AUROS has presented us with a 3k IPS display running at 2880 x 1620 resolution, three SSDs in RAID boasting transfer speeds of up to 1500Mb/s and 25 sets of macro keys.

Adding to the pile of features, AUROS claims this is the first laptop in the world to be able to cast your game-play to the world in-house, boasting a live streaming engine located within. There's no telling if this is a third-party collaboration with someone like BlackMagic or AVeRMedia just yet, or pre-installed software like XSplit or OBS.

Dell unveils its Inspiron 15 7000 Series 2-in-1 PC

Computex 2015 - PC maker Dell used Computex to help showcase its new Inspiron 15 7000 Series 2-in-1 PC.

The 2-in-1 device features a 15.6" display, and can rotate between four different modes: tablet, laptop, tent and stand mode. True Color ships standard with the 7000 Series 2-in-1 PC, and features a wide-viewing angle courtesy of the IPS screen. Dell included the Standard Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio software to provide enhanced audio playback.

Dell promotes the 2-in-1's sub-20 mm form and its 802.11ac wireless standard functionality. Hardware specifications weren't revealed.

ORIGIN PC intros NVIDIA G-SYNC to EON17-X, EON15-X laptops

ORIGIN PC has announced that it will include NVIDIA G-Sync technology on its EON17-X and EON15-X gaming laptops.

The addition of G-Sync will minimize display stutter, lower input lag, and eliminate screen tearing - while providing 1080p and 4K resolutions. Gamers interested in seeing NVIDIA G-Sync technology in a gaming laptop can join the fun starting this month, according to ORIGIN PC.

"Anything that improves your gaming experience is something that ORIGIN PC craves," said Kevin Wasielweski, CEO and co-founder of ORIGIN PC. "NVIDIA's G-Sync technology is truly a game changing technology that allows us to offer the smoothest and fastest gameplay on a laptop. It's time to leave lag, stuttering, and tearing behind. It's true what they say: Once you go G-Sync you can never go back."

NVIDIA wants to apply G-Sync to laptops and more

Computex 2015 - Looking to improve our portable technology, NVIDIA has mentioned that it is interested in adding G-Sync to laptops.

As G-Sync sets out to increase frame rates and improve an overall gaming experience, laptops designed with gamers in mind are becoming more popular as technology makes advancements. There is no shortage of Intel i7-toting, NVIDIA 980m wielding 17" beasts on the market and it only makes sense that G-Sync should be added to the arsenal.

NVIDIA's director of technical marketing, Tom Peterson, claims that this technology will be flexible - further claiming that we could see it soon added to mobile phones and Virtual Reality applications.

Apple's new 15-inch MacBook Pro features AMD Radeon R9 M370X GPU

Apple has unveiled its new 15-inch MacBook Pro with refreshed internals and Force Touch technology, as well as a new 5K-capable iMac. The addition of Force Touch technology on the new 15-inch MacBook Pro allows it to join the league of the 13-inch MacBook Pro that Apple unveiled not too long ago with its impressive new trackpad.

The refreshed 15-inch MacBook Pro includes an interesting mobile GPU that people have nearly skimmed over, with Apple using an AMD Radeon R9 M370X - from AMD's upcoming Radeon 300 series of GPUs. Apple's refreshed MBP features a quad-core Intel Core i7 processor at 2.5GHz, 16GB of 1600MHz DDR3 RAM, a 512GB PCIe-based SSD, Intel Iris Pro graphics along with the Radeon R9 M370X, and the Force Touch trackpad. All of this will set you back $2499.

The new iMac features a 5K Retina panel, and starting at $1999 you'll get a quad-core Intel Core i5 processor at 3.3GHz. The refreshed iMac features a beautiful 5120x2880 resolution, which packs 67% more pixels than 4K at 3840x2160. Inside, there'll be 8GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, joined by four USB 3.0 ports and two Thunderbolt 2 ports that provide up to an insane 20Gbps, each.

ASUS shows off the powerful ZenBook Pro UX501 with an NVIDIA GTX 960M

Alongside showcasing its new flagship ZenFone 2 smartphone and the ultra-portable world's thinnest ZenBook UX305 in Manhattan recently, ASUS CEO Jonney Shih also talked about the powerful ZenBook Pro UX501.

Packing an NVIDIA GTX 960M video card and backed by an Intel Core i7-4720HQ processor, this laptop contains a massive 16GB of RAM and supports 4K/UHD video playback. Marketed with 3D rendering and gaming in mind, the 15.6-inch touch display allows you to play away at a 3860 x 2160 resolution coupled with an 178-degree viewing angle.

Offering a PCI-E SSD up to 512GB in capacity, ASUS claim this to be the world's fastest, boasting read and write speeds of up to 1400MB/s - listed as twice as fast as competing PCI-E x2 models.

ASUS shows off its new world's slimmest ZenBook, the UX305

If you're interested in something light, small and portable to take along on business trips of for pleasure, ASUS showcased its new ZenBook UX305 alongside the ZenFone 2 extravaganza recently in Manhattan.

Featuring a 13.3-inch QHD+ screen, an Intel Core M processor, 8GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD to round it all off, ASUS claims this model weighs in at only 2.64lbs and measures just 0.48 inches thick.

The IPS multi-touch display will run at 3200 x 1800 pixels and supports wide viewing angles which compliments the three SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, a bundled USB-to-Ethernet adapter and a mini DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter all located in the overall package.

Eurocom announces its Armadillo 2 Ultrabook, supports up to 32GB RAM

Often plagued by slow operating procedures, Ultrabooks have shown that a quick start-up process and a thin design isn't the be all and end all of computing technology.

Setting out to help change this trend is Eurocom, recently announcing its Armadillo 2 Ultrabook sporting up to 32GB of memory through two 16GB RAM modules. Coupled with an Intel i5-5200U Broadwell CPU and 2TB of storage space, bundled with Intel HD graphics 5500 and in a complete package completed by a brushed aluminum exterior weighing in at only 1.8kg and measuring 2.1cm thick, this Ultrabook really looks like a winner.

The 2TB of storage comes through a mSATA drive bay and one 2.5-inch 7mm HDD/SSD slot which is kept churning by the 7-hour battery life provided by a 44WH battery.

New GIGABYTE P55K gaming laptop utilizes NVIDIA GTX 965M

GIGABYTE has unveiled its P55K, a 15.6" gaming laptop that combines a quad-core Haswell processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M mobile GPU to power a stunning 1080p display.

The gaming laptop is powered by an Intel Core i7-4720HQ CPU, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M GDDR5 2GB GPU, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, and full-sized backlit keyboard. The laptop ships with 4 USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, D-Sub, SD card reader and DC-in jack - put together in a unit that measures 15" x 10.6" and stands 1.3" high. It weighs an acceptable 5.3-lb.

The P55K starts at $1,249 MSRP.

The MSI Prestige Series laptops packs a punch for a reasonable price

If you're interested in a laptop with True Color Technology, MSI is offering up its new Prestige Series models to customers showcasing six different color profiles and boasting the "truest of colors available" as seen in their recent press release.

Bundled with Intel Core i7 processors, a NVIDIA GTX 950M, quality audio and the ability to support three 4K monitors at once, MSI is offering up 15 and 17-inch screened models of beauty coming very soon.

Interestingly one of the color modes available is listed as Anti-Blue and sets out to sooth your eyes when partaking in long usage sessions. We've seen this utilized before through things like GUNNAR glasses and the program f.lux, it will be interesting to see how well this in-built works compared to the rest.
