As we approach the climax for one of the most anticipated and biggest T.V shows of all-time, Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham has spoken out about the decision to leave the show at eight seasons.

Game of Thrones actor says 8 seasons is an 'honorable' end

If you have been keeping up with Game of Thrones you would understand the hype there is for the final season to begin airing, as that is when all us fans finally get to see an ending to the monumental battles for the throne and the survival of Westeros itself. Who will sit upon the throne? Who will be left alive after the major battles that are about to occur? and why the hell isn't HBO just mass producing Game of Thrones seasons? Liam Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth or 'The Onion Knight' has said in an interview that the show doesn't want to overstay their welcome in the spot light.

Cunningham spoke to IGN and said "I get asked all the time, 'What the hell are you guys thinking? You could run Game of Thrones forever.' If you want to stay cool, and the show is cool, the best way to stay cool is to not overstay your welcome." That is quite a well-thought out decision if you were to ask me, not stretching the show on further than people can manage would certainly create a much more impactful and rewarding ending. Cunningham also adds "[It] would be dishonorable to stay on longer than we should" and that even though he is happy its ending it will still be "dearly" missed, so much that he would like "Game of Thrones' Liam Cunningham" written on his tombstone.

Disney will continue to make R-rated movies such as Deadpool

Jak Connor | Feb 7, 2019 3:00 AM CST

Many fans of Marvel, Fox and Disney have had their eyebrows raised to whether we are going to see any more R-rated movies coming out of Disney's movie conveyor belt. Recent news has suggested that Disney has no problems with future R-rated movies.

Disney will continue to make R-rated movies such as Deadpool

In a recent earnings call with Disney's chief, Bob Iger, questions were posed to their chairman regarding the ratings for future Disney movies and if we will be seeing new movies within the same R-rated calibre as Deadpool. Iger replied with "We do believe there is room for the Fox properties to exist without significant Disney influence over the nature of the content, meaning that we see that there is certainly popularity amongst Marvel fans for the R-rated Deadpool films, as a for instance. We're going to continue in that business, and there might be room for more of that."

Iger further explains the relationship between Marvel, Fox and Disney. He says that when a future movie is decided upon and the ratings are set that the companies will be "very carefully branding them and making sure that we're not in any way confusing the consumer with product that would be sort of either Disney product or the more traditional Marvel product." At the moment there is no known R-rated Disney produced movies in the pipeline, but with this now acceptance of a strong market for these types of films we will most likely see some in the near future.

During the Superbowl 2019, Marvel has taken the stage to showcase two new trailers for two new upcoming movies that are about to enter the franchise.

Marvel tease Avengers: End Game & Captain Marvel trailer

Marvel has released the two new trailers on the Marvel Entertainment YouTube Channel, the first being the Avengers: Endgame 'Big Game' trailer. In the trailer we see a quick scenes of Tony and Nebula working together on ship repairs, Rocket at a strange beach, Black Widow shooting to kill, Ant Man out of the quantum realm, Thor in Wakanda and Captain America gearing up with his shield.

There is quite a lot to look into and speculate from the new trailer, as it seems there has been many years since the dreaded 'snap' of Avengers: Infinity War. Captain America has picked up his once renounced shield that he gave up in Civil War, so it can be assumed that the situation is clearly a serious one. An hour after the release of the Endgame trailer Marvel decided to release a new trailer for Captain Marvel as well. Netflix responds to viral crush of serial killer Ted Bundy

Jak Connor | Jan 29, 2019 1:00 AM CST

Just last week Netflix debuted a new documentary series on the anniversary of the famous serial killer Ted Bundy. The series is a short four-part documentary titled 'Conversations with a Killer: The Ted Bundy Tapes' and since its release its had quite a strange audience response, so strange that Netflix themselves had to step in.

Netflix responds to viral crush of serial killer Ted Bundy

Director Joe Berlinger debuted the documentary and then two days later released a biopic movie of Bundy, the movie starred actor Zac Efron and was titled Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile. With two new pieces of Bundy content released to the world, the topic of Bundy's appearance - for some reason - became a huge area of discussion. Doing my own research, I searched on Twitter "Ted Bundy is hot", to my amazement I came across numerous people claiming that the appearance of Ted Bundy was attractive despite his recorded 30 murders, kidnappings and rapes.

It is unclear whether people are just saying these things to cause controversy on their Twitter accounts, as everyone knows its much easier to get a negative reaction out of someone than a positive one. Internet trolls will go to any length to anger the masses, or some people are actually genuine in finding Ted Bundy attractive. It is almost impossible to separate the two due to how outlandish the topic is. Either way, Netflix stepped into the situation with their official Twitter account saying "I've seen a lot of talk about Ted Bundy's alleged hotness and would like to gently remind everyone that there are literally THOUSANDS of hot men on the service - almost all of whom are not convicted serial murderers".

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate goes Hunger Games on Adult Swim

Jak Connor | Jan 20, 2019 6:53 PM CST

Nintendo's Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is not only making waves in the gaming market right now for sales, but it also is granting some amazing content idea's from content creators. Adults Swim's latest Robot Chicken episode pits the Super Smash Bros. fighters against each other in an epic Hunger Games match.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate goes Hunger Games on Adult Swim

The above stop-motion video which has been released onto the Adult Swim YouTube Channel begins with Tortimer selecting names from a bowl in an Animal Crossing village for the "74th annual Smash Brothers games". Clearly this is direct reference to the Hunger Games movies/book, and just like the movie a female villager offers herself as tribute to save the life of another, in this case a terrified Puddles.

We then see the female villager speaking to Tom Nook about the Smashing Games, saying that all the participants care about is "competent edge guarding and L-cancelling", quite an accurate and clever joke if you ask me. Villager is then teleported to Hyrule Castle and begins her match. Each of the fighters that are seen throughout the battle use their respective abilities from Smash Ultimate, and as a Smash player it is quite awesome to see a very accurate and comical representation of each of the characters.
