Media coverage of the Intel Developer Forum, currently taking place in San Francisco, CA, has taken an innovative turn today.

Live Blogging 2.0 helps to bring IDF to life

We received news from PC Perspective of their efforts to bring the IDF to life, by presenting coverage from the show, to readers, in as close to real-time as possible.

This allows for key points and facts to filter out, leaving the detailed analysis for later and, gives us an opportunity to capture the knowledge gained, form our own opinions and engage more readily in subsequent debates.

Live Blogging 2.0 are those buzzwords to thank for this turn of events and, this refreshing approach is somewhat more dynamic and endearing, than the traditional methods of coverage we have seen from IDF over the years.

PC Perspective is already planning to take this experiment to NVIDIA's NVISION08 and, let's hope that this is a trend that is adopted by more in the future.
