Lian-Li aims for coordination with TR-5 controller

Lian-Li has unleashed its latest TR-5 fan controller unit, at an MRSP of $35.

Requiring only one, 5.25" bay for installation, the TR-5 will ship in two colour options, a timeless metallic silver and, a classic matt black.

The front plate of the unit, houses a backlit LCD unit, allowing for interaction with the unit and its features which, include the ability for users to set desired fan speeds based on either, a temperature based methodology, or to their own whims.

Utilising a 12V DC power source, the unit supports three pin fans, demanding up to 0.45A of power, whilst users are greeted with a flashing red backlight, should fan failure, or the exceeding of a temperature threshold, occur.

Clearly at home in a Lian-Li chassis, the TR-5 attempts to create harmony between simplicity and style.
