NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ gets tested early
Both PC Perspective and Firing Squad managed to get their hands on an NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GTX+ graphics card surprisingly quickly.

Smells like...
We first broke news of the new 55nm G92 based GeForce 9800 GTX+ a couple days ago and evidently NVIDIA were saving it to reign in on AMD's parade with its launch of the HD 4000 series - Radeon HD 4850 in particular.
AMD still has a trick or two up its sleeve with 1GB versions of the 4850 coming out soon along with that other one you probably heard about, HD 4870 - you'll see that come out on June 25th... as long as AMD doesn't change its plans again.

Check out the early performance previews of the 9800 GTX+ over at PC Per and Firing Squad. We'll get our full review online just as soon as we get one, which probably won't be long.
I think VGA benchmarkers around the world need a rest for at least a few days or they may go on strike or something!
