While we got a first look at ZOTAC's GeForce 9800 GTX ZONE Edition at Computex in Taipei last week, it has now been officially released.
All of ZOTAC's ZONE Edition graphics cards will come with factory preinstalled water-cooling and of course a hefty overclock. ZOTAC's ZONE 9800 GTX gets a core clock speed of 700MHz (default is 675MHz), memory gets a speed bump to 2250MHz DDR (default is 2200MHz DDR) and the shader clock goes to 1700MHz (default is 1688MHz).
So we aren't talking about a massive overclock but what you need to remember is that this card is going to operate much quieter (with a single 12cm fan on the radiator that mounts at the rear of your case) than a regular air-cooled 9800 GTX. ZOTAC claims that its GPU operates 21.5% cooler. It should be nice and easy to setup as well since it all comes packaged ready to go.
We'll have our review online in a week or two once our review sample arrives.
