X58/Nehalem benchmark run at Computex

COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2008 The boys over at VR-Zone have managed to take an X58 platform for a spin with a Nehalem processor running at 2.66GHz. Although testing was very limited, they were able to bring us a 3DMark Vantage CPU score.

 

 

As you can see from the screenshot above, the platform shows mass potential with a very healthy CPU score of 16334; this said to be roughly 45% quicker than current-gen Intel processors.
