Silicon-Power releases 2GB DDR3 SO-DIMM

In preperation for the mass of DDR3 equipped notebooks to hit the market very soon, Silicon-Power has gone all out with the release of both 1 and 2GB DDR3 SO-DIMM modules rated for 1066 speeds, and with CL7 timings at just 1.5v.

 

The 2GB capacity option is a nice surprise for DDR3 based memory, making it easily possible for 4GB of DDR3 goodness in your notebook which Vista will only be all too happy about.

 

Pricing has not yet been provided, but whatever it may be, it'll inevitably continue to drop lower and lower over the coming months. You can find more details within Silcon-Power's official PR here.
