Arctic gets crazy with 9800 cooler

Arctic Cooling has just sent us details of its latest product and this one is a monster.

Accelero XTREME 9800 is a graphics card cooler for the GeForce 9800 GTX and includes no less than three 80mm cooling fans which helps dissipate GPU heat from the five 6mm heat pipes and 107 fins.

Arctic Cooling claim that if you replace the stock 9800 GTX cooler, you’ll end up with a temperature reading 29c lower. All this crazy cooling does not come cheap though, it will set you back around $54 USD and you will be able to buy it from next month to get your 9800 GTX overclock on.

Same as other ARCTIC COOLING products, the Accelero XTREME 9800 not only excels in cooling, it also offers excellent noise management. Its three 80mm PWM fans are equipped with low noise impellers and installed in a unique fan holder in order to eliminate any buzzing sounds. The efficient noise control design enables the Accelero XTREME 9800 to minimize the noise level to 0.7 sone.

Enjoy the coolness and quietness brought by the Accelero XTREME 9800 today!
