Hot on the heels of yesterdays news that Universal Pictures have chosen the DTS HD Master Audio encoder to feature on all Blu-ray releases moving forward, Paramount have announced plans to also feature lossless audio on future Blu-ray releases, but in the Dolby TrueHD format.
Again this is great news for Blu fans and this now signals that all movie studios habitually releases movies in lossless, bit for bit quality of the original studio masters. Let’s break it down:
