By: (more) | CPU, APU & Chipsets News | Posted: Apr 18, 2008 9:01 am

Sapphire alerted us today that its current range of AMD based motherboards all support the latest 125 watt AMD Phenom processors, 9750 and 9850.

PC-AM2RD790 - PURE CrossFireX 790FX, the new mainstream CrossFire board PC-AM2RX780 - PURE CrossFireX 770, and the MATX Hybrid CrossFire board with integrated graphics, PI-AM2RS780G - Hybrid CrossFire 780G will all get your belly's burning with 125 watt AMD processors.

The PI-AM2RS780G and PC-AM2RD790 require BIOS updates to recognize the new CPU ID's correctly. The new BIOS updates have already been posted on the Sapphire website over here. Go grab them folks!
