Sony Bring DTS HD MA To PlayStation 3

| Posted: Apr 10, 2008 11:13 am

Sony Computer Entertainment have announced, via their official blog, that next week firmware 2.30 will be released which will finally, and I mean finally, bring DTS HD Master Audio. This of course means that Blu-ray fans will be able to tap into the complete stream of DTS HD MA titles (ie all Fox movies) instead of the cut down version fans now recieve.

It is currently unknown whether it will be decoded or bitstream audio ouput.

Bring on next week! Stay tuned to TT Gamer for updates as they happen, and for all things gaming for that matter.
