DFI’s X48 boards pictured without blur

DFI kindly sent us some pictures of their upcoming X48 boards and it looks like there are no less than three different DDR2 models coming. First up we have the Lanparty UT X48-T2R which is the top of the range model. It features a new chipset cooling solution that has been developed together with Thermalright, although it was blurred out on earlier pictures of this board.

You can find the product page here, although at the moment it seems like there’s no picture of a board, but at least the full spec’s are up.

Next up we have the Lanparty LT X48-T2R which is a cut-down version with a more basic chipset cooling setup. Apart from this, the two boards appear to be very similar in terms of specifications.

You can find the product page for this board here, although this time you can find a better overview of the slots, as there’s a top down shot of the board without the chipset cooler fitted to it.

Finally we have the Lanparty DK X48-T2RS which is a more basic version, but it still offers support for dual x16 slots and CrossFireX. As with the previous boards, this is an upgraded version of DFI’s older X38 based boards, although this specific board seems to have gained a new chipset cooler as well which features two heatpipes.

The product page for this board can be found here and it also features a top down shot of the board.

We don’t know when these boards are expected to launch, but we’d guess they’re not far away now.
