Roadshow Home Entertainment have issued a stringent set of rules to comply with the high court order banning exhibition, distribution and sale of the show in Victoria. This applies to the upcoming, as yet unscheduled DVD release of the critically acclaimed show.
First, Victorian stores will not have orders for the DVD processed. Roadshow have prohibited online retailers from selling the discs, due to fear they could then in turn be distributed to Victoria. All packaging and posters and all advertising will be marked “Not for Sale, Distribution or Exhibition in Victoria”.
Heaven forbid that Victorians become aware of the seedy underbelly that exists in their cosy state.
