Looks like we could be stuck with Vista for quite a while yet (unless you chose to stuck with good'ole faithful XP of course).

Despite recent rumours suggesting we'd see the next version of Windows (dubbed Windows 7) released in 2009, Microsoft has supposedly come forward and said they've no intention of bringing it to the masses until early 2011; around four years from Vista's launch.

Details at the WinVistaClub.

January 26th, 2008. Contrary to all that is being said on the net, it clearly looks like Microsoft is NOT planning to release Windows 7 in 2009. Microsoft's official response, by an Email dated 26th January, 2008, to WinVistaClub states that Windows 7 is still in the planning stage and will take approximately 3 years to develop. The following is the extract of the mail.
