Scythe releases 140mm Zipang cooler

By: (more) | Cases, Cooling & PSU News | Posted: Jan 25, 2008 11:35 pm

Scythe have just announced their first CPU cooler which boasts a 140mm fan. The heatsink design itself is also quite bold with its Uneven Parallel Heatpipe Construction (UPHC).

UPHC takes the advantage of heatpipe attachment for both the top and the bottom portion of the heatink fin to maximize the heat dissipation to the entire heatsink surface. This newer technology is applied for this cooler as the first time to challenge to go beyond the current air cooling technology!

For full details about the cooler you can find the press release here, and there's some more images of it here folks.

Equipped 140mm fan to optimize the cooling performance of this new technology with super silent operation and cooling at the same time. As you expect always from Scythe, no compromise in silence yet always to challenge the maximum performance in the market! Performance is maximized yet noise level as well as overall dimension is minimized.
