AMD's 3870 X2 ahead of schedule

NDA moved forward a week

Good news if you're holding out for AMD's much anticipated dual-GPU R680 based graphics card (known as the HD 3870 X2). A report at TGDaily informs us all that AMD plan to release the monster a week early. The NDA was originally set to be lifted on January 28 but apparently this has been moved forward to the 23rd.

 



Sunnyvale (CA) - Industry sources are telling us that AMD will be releasing its dual-processor R680 graphics card one week early. The NDA on all the technical specs was due to lift on January 28th, but our source tells us this has been moved up to the 23rd. We've yet to get a confirmation from anyone at AMD.
