ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 Spotted at CES

We've heard briefly about AMD's intent to release a dual-GPU HD 3870 in the not too distant future, and more evidence of that shows up at CES. The lads at HotHardware have spotted a HD 3870 X2 in the flesh whilst doing the rounds on the show floor and they were kind enough to snap some shots and write up a little story on it.



Specifics of the card are still scarce but we'll come to know a lot more about it very soon i'm sure. Hexus also spotted one of these cards tightly sitting inside one of SilverStone's new SFF chassis'.


While making our way through various exhibits at CES, Dave and I got a chance to get hands on time with AMD's upcoming ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2 graphics card. As we mentioned in our initial coverage of the ATI Radeon HD 3800 series back in November, the 3870 X2 is a dual-GPU powered card that leverages ATI's CrossFire technology.
