D-Link Embraces Yahoo Desktop Widgets

An announcement from D-Link earlier today informs us that their popular "Draft 802.11n Xtreme NT Router (DIR-655)" has had a new feature added which could be quite useful indeed.

 

Users now have the ability to monitor network performance through the use of Yahoo!R desktop widgets.

 

The 'D-Link Network Monitor' Widget will display key network performance data for Internet, WLAN, and LAN connections. Over 30 types of network data are easily viewable from the widget, including number of networked devices, security settings and much more.
