Creative launches new Vista drivers

For older Audigy & Live! cards

| Posted: Jun 27, 2007 8:51 am

Creative has finally got around to finishing off a set of drivers for its older Audigy and Live! cards after having spent most of its time working on X-Fi and the Alchemy project. It's not exactly what you'd expect in terms of support from a company as big as Creative, as it's almost five months since Vista launched.

None the less, the drivers are finally here and they work with the Audigy Value, Audigy SE, Audigy LS, and Live! 24-bit cards. Now owners of these cards gets full functionality compared to the "basic" functionality previous drivers provided. The 1.04.0076 drivers include Creative's audio console, EAX console, device control and speaker settings, as well as a wide range of other features.

You can download the 32-bit version here and the 64-bit version here
