Dell makes XPS 700 owners happy

By: (more) | Posted: Jun 22, 2007 9:54 am

It seems like Dell has taken to good old fashioned customer service and had decided to make good all XPS 700 owners by offering them an upgrade kit for their systems. It's a rather cracking offer as well, as every XPS 700 customer will be given a hardware upgrade kit at no charge as well as the option to have it installted at home for free.

As if this wasn't good enough, they also have the chance to get a Core 2 Extreme QX6700 quad core CPU at 25% discount. If you own an XPS 710 you're sadly out of luck, since you have to pay for the same upgrade kit as well as you'd have to pay for the installation if you wanted this.

The kit includes an XPS 720 motherboard, a new front panel I/O assembly, all required cables and bits needed to fit it all and a free XPS mouse pad. You can't knock that for free really, can you?

You can check out some more information about this upgrade kit here and there's also a few pictures of what you'll be getting, all 10 of you that bought a Dell XPS 700...
