Gigabyte's Computex site live

By: (more) | Posted: May 31, 2007 7:29 am

Gigabyte has launched its Computex site and this is where all its new products will be displayed as they're launched during the show. If you don't have the opportunity to visit Computex, this is going to be one of many excellent sources to find out about the latest products and show announcements.

Some news are already starting to appear there, such as a press release about the new Silent-Pipe 3 graphics card cooler which uses what Gigabyte calls Inner Turbulence Fluid Mechanics Design.

Utilizing a series of layered long and short fins with trapezoid punches, Silent-Pipe 3™ transforms laminar (smooth) air flow into turbulent (rough) air flow inside the heat sink, increasing the heat exchange ratio and enhancing overall thermal performance.

Gigabyte is also looking to announce a new Media Center PC with HDMI and a water cooled AMD based PC. Furthermore, Gigabyte is about to launch a new range of VIA based thin clients and several mini-ITX and microATX embedded motherboards.

Also expect to see a range of new notebooks and a new UMPC from Gigabyte. A couple of the new notebooks will be powered by the latest GeForce 8 series of mobile GPU's from Nvidia and we will bring you more details about these machines as we get it.

A range of new cases and cooling solutions should also be on display, including a new range of desktop cases as well as Gigabyte's new range of power supplies.

You can visit the Gigabyte Computex site here
