EcoPCReview.com about to launch

| Posted: May 17, 2007 3:44 am

Our good friend Mike Chin over at SilentPCReview is about to launch a new website called EcoPCReview.com and is currently looking for some help and he might be looking for you. EcoPCReview.com is going to look at the environmental aspects of computers and is as such taking a new angle at how we're looking at computers. The new site will look at how you can reduce the environmental impact of computers, not only in terms of how much power they draw, but also things like manufacturing, recycling and so on.

EcoPCReview.com is currently having three different openings, but it doesn't mean three members of staff, as they're looking for several writers. You can check out the positions open over at SilentPCReview .

We seek exceptional people to fill the following positions:

1. Assistant Editor

Help manage and produce content for publication. The ideal candidate will be able to assist in making the site more dynamic, interactive, and relevant, and play a role in maintenance and development. Responsibilities include writing core articles; reviewing and posting proprietary articles, graphics, tables and third party news and information; monitoring wire services for breaking news and article updates; and production and distribution of related e-mail.

Must be detail oriented and deadlines driven. Understanding of relevant Web authoring software and tools is a plus. Degree in journalism or communications with prior publishing experience in a related field is ideal.
