SanDisk Announce New Mobile Products

SanDisk have just issued out multiple press releases supporting the introduction of some new mobile storage solutions.

 

These comprise of an 8GB JEDEC-Compatible iNAND embedded flash drive, a microSD MULTI SD Adapter kit and a new large capacity 4GB microSDHC flash card for mobile phones.

 

Another seperate announcement from them makes mention of the "i-mode Alliance" (a large group of mobile network providers around the globe) having selected SanDisk's "TrustedFlash" technology as the preferred solution for securely pre-loading and downloading premium content on removable flash memory cards in mobile phones that use i-mode™ mobile Internet services outside of Japan.

 



BARCELONA, SPAIN, February 12, 2007 - SanDisk® Corporation (NASDAQ:SNDK) today announced that the i-mode™ Alliance, which consists of 18 mobile network providers around the globe*, has selected SanDisk's TrustedFlash™ technology as the preferred solution for securely pre-loading and downloading premium content on removable flash memory cards in mobile phones that use i-mode™ mobile Internet services outside of Japan. The announcement was made at 3GSM World Congress, where SanDisk is exhibiting its mobile products in Hall 7, Booth 7C62 and Hall 8, Booth 8C74 at Spain's Fira de Barcelona exhibition grounds.
