AMD: "Nvidia can't write a driver to save its life" news post from TweakTown's online news computing and technology content pages

Had a funny e-mail come through from AMD a short while ago. They couldn't resist the urge to pass around a few links referring to NVIDIA's lack of decent driver support for Windows Vista, the first two of which were compiled by The Inquirer (Nvidia screws Dell / Nvidia still fails to deliver a Vista WHQL driver), and a third reference to Microsoft's Vista Hardware Compatibility List where they highlight the fact that NVIDIA's 8800 series cards are still not officially certified for Vista Premium.

Hi all,

Just in case you haven't seen this...

http://theinquirer.org/default.aspx?article=37476

DELL SEEMS TO have realized something about Vista that is blindingly obvious to any gamer, basically it is totally unfit for release, much less gaming.

That and NVidia can't write a driver to save its life .

As well, till today, Nvidia's 8800 series is NOT certified for Vista Premium at Microsoft Vista Hardware Compatibility List: https://winqual.microsoft.com/HCL/ProductList.aspx?cid=303
