By: (more) | Posted: Jan 30, 2007 8:47 pm

Sapphire have just announced their variant of AMD/ATI's new "X1950 GT" graphics card, based around the RV570 GPU with only slightly inferior specs to that of the previously released X1950 Pro cards.

The card runs at a core clock speed of 500MHz along with 256MB of GDDR3 memory operating at 600MHz (or 1200MHz DDR).

For more details on it, head over to the DailyTech or have a read of the official announcement folks.

A new introduction by SAPPHIRE Technology, industry leading manufacturer of graphics cards, now reduces the cost of entry to its highly successful X1950 Series. The SAPPHIRE X1950GT is scheduled to ship from retailers and system integrators worldwide from January 29th 2007.

The SAPPHIRE X1950GT combines high-definition entertainment with fast gaming performance, industry-leading image quality and crystal clear High Definition digital video at a new and very affordable price point. Like other members of the X1950 series, the SAPPHIRE X1950GT boasts a set of image quality features like simultaneous HDR with adaptive anti-aliasing and a palette of over one billion colours, bringing to life the latest gaming and video experiences.
