Westinghouse Digital are making their presence known at CES with a bang, having just announced a pretty damn awesome lineup of LCD HDTVs, one of which is a 56" Quad monitor monster! This is the first LCD to allow for a MASSIVE resolution of 3840 x 2160 which is achieved by a combination of four 1920 x 1080 displays together.

Short of having won the lottery however, it's only something most of us can dream about owning.

For more info on it along with the other new LCDs on display from Westinghouse at CES this year, head over to the DailyTech.

Westinghouse Digital Electronics is using CES 2007 as platform to announce its new lineup of LCD HDTVs, LCD computer monitors and digital photo frames. Most interesting out of all the Westinghouse showings is its new 56” Quad monitor, the first LCD with 3840 x 2160 (greater than eight megapixel) resolution. The stunning resolution is achieved by combining four 1920 x 1080 displays together.

According to Westinghouse, this high-end display is ideal for government, military, aerospace and medical markets as well as the digital content creation sector. It offers an 8-millisecond response time, 1000:1 contrast ratio and an advanced color gamut to display the broadest possible range or color. The 56” Quad monitor also features an ADD RS232 connection and multiple panel configurations, making it perfect for use in a video wall. Pricing has yet to be released on this monster display.
