Logitech have just further expanded their range of PC speaker systems with the X-240 2.1 Kit. The most notable feature with these is the control center module which also serves as a cradle for portable MP3 players, PDAs, mobile phones etc. - It also comes with specialized trays to suit the iPod and MS Zune players.

For more details on these, head over to Logitech's website.

LAS VEGAS — CES — Jan. 4, 2007 — Logitech (SWX: LOGN) (NASDAQ: LOGI), a leading manufacturer of multimedia speakers, today announced the Logitech® X-240 speaker system for the PC, to be on display at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show next week. The X-240 PC speaker system features a redesigned control center that includes audio controls for a PC or Mac and serves as a cradle for an iPod® or other MP3 player, PDA or mobile phone. The cradle, which stows away when not in use, makes it easier for people to charge, sync and play their portable device with their PC.
