In typical L style, the ultra luxurious computer making company are planning to soon release the most extreme laptop yet, one with no less then two quad-core CPUs. Thats right, 8 cores of powah folks. The CPUs in question will be a couple of Xeon 5300-series ones totalling 8MBs of L2 cache. If that isnt enough to knock your socks off, it will also apparently come with up to 8GB of system memory, and an NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M 512MB graphics solution, not to mention a nice big 17" LCD with 1920x1200 res and many more goodies (swappable HD-DVD and Blu-ray devices etc.).

The company said its new Hollywood Pro X8 laptop will feature two Intel Xeon 5300-series microprocessors with four processing cores and 8MB of level-two cache in total, up to 8GB of PC2-5300 (DDR2 667MHz) memory, up to 160GB hard disk drive, Nvidia Quadro FX 2500M 512MB graphics accelerator and a 17" liquid crystal display with 1920x1200 resolution. The company said the new notebooks will feature "a suite of available optical drives from high-speed multi-format/dual-layer DVD burner to future HD-DVD and Blu-Ray swappable devices".
