ATI Catalyst 6.11s Arrive
Comment | Print | Email to a Friend | Font Size: AAAlthough last month's CATALYST release came quite late, a mere two weeks later and we see the new 6.11 drivers turn up! - In addition to the usual array of bug fixes and performance improvements these particular drivers will allow CrossFire to work without the need for a master card or external dongle.

As with most Catalyst® releases, performance has increased in various situations. In this release of Catalyst® Call of Duty 2 performance improves as much as 12.5% at 1920x1200 settings and as much as 10.5% at 1280x1024 settings on X1900 Software Crossfire configurations. Largest gains are seen with 4x Anti-Aliasing enabled.
