Altec Lansing Launches Performance & Value-oriented 5.1 Speakers

By: (more) | Posted: Nov 9, 2006 12:02 am

Altec Lansing have just added another speaker system to their lineup in the VS3251 5.1 kit. Aimed towards the budget focused buyer, this kit comprises five 2.5" full-range drivers and a 5" subby with a said total RMS output of 70 watts.

For more details on it head over to Altec Lansing's website where the official PR resides.

Going beyond great sound quality, the VS3251 will appeal to the chic and clutter-conscious consumer as well. The system's distinctive, sophisticated style looks great next to flat panel monitors or anywhere in the home. The VS3251 has removable speaker stands and wall mounting capability that frees the desktop entirely.

A full-function wireless remote includes controls for system volume (for center, surround and subwoofer), bass and treble levels, stereo/surround modes and a toggle switch for your MP3 player and PC. If that's not enough, there's a headphone jack for private listening, as well as a secondary input jack so that two different audio sources can be connected - your PC and iPod, for instance - at the same time. Sit back and enjoy a good deal on your audio experience.
