Getting some justice - domain name theft

| Posted: Jul 10, 2006 6:29 am

We have been working with HARDiNFO in Denmark against another Danish media company called Hardware-test.dk who stole our domain name (tweaktown.dk) back in 2004.

We will do everything in our power by law to gain control of tweaktown.dk and any compensation due because of the commercial nature of the usage of our domain in the Danish market.

"We are very disappointed with the actions of Hardware-test.dk, said Mr. Wilmot of TweakTown Pty Ltd. We will seek complete control of tweaktown.dk along with compensation for the usage of the domain since 2004. Our friends at HARDiNFO have contacted the owners of Hardware-test.dk multiple times in the past on this issue but unfortunately they were unwilling to comply with our requests. Hence moving forward, we will do everything in our power by law to gain control and any compensation due."

If you would like to find out more, please read the story over at HARDiNFO.
