DFI Releases INFINITY 975X/G - Conroe & Crossfire Rdy

This new motherboard from the DFI guns is bound to draw lots of attention. Based on the Intel 975X Express + ICH7 chipset, the INFINITY 975X/G is ready for Conroe and Crossfire and should become available at the end of the month.

Taipei, Taiwan - June 20, 2006 - DFI today announced the release of INFINITY 975X/G with support for the next generation Intel® Conroe processors and ATI® CrossFire technology. The board's Intel® 975X Express + ICH7 chipset offers supreme video experience for the hardcore gamer while delivering seamless performance handling simultaneous applications for multimedia entertainment and high-end computation programs.

 

The DFI INFINITY 975X/G is a versatile solution that is compatible with the latest Intel® processors, including Intel® Conroe processors. It supports Enhanced Intel® SpeedStep® Technology (EIST) to regulate and potentially lower power consumption, Intel® Hyper-Threading technology to significantly enhance video game effects, Intel® Extended Memory 64 Technology (Intel® EM64T) to improve the performance via access to additional memory, and Intel® Advanced Smart Cache technology to increase efficiency by reducing latency to frequently used data.
