| Posted: Jun 22, 2006 12:30 am

Creative have just kicked off their latest "ZEN V" series of mp3 players in an effort to kill off the iPod Nano. Making up the new ZEN V range are two seperate models available in a range of colors, the "ZEN V Plus" which sports playback of mp3s, videos, photo viewing, and FM radio; then there's the standard "ZEN V" player which drops video and FM radio playback. Both models are sold with storage options of 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB.

Creative's official PR and product page cover all the details. Furthermore, HardwareZone attended Creative's official launch event for ZEN V and as such have also posted up their coverage.

SINGAPORE - June 21, 2006 - Creative Technology Ltd. (NASDAQ: CREAF), a worldwide leader in digital entertainment products, today introduced a new small and beautiful way to FIND YOUR ZEN - the ZEN V Plus MP3, photo and video player with built-in FM radio.
