Fresh from the announcement by Director Guillermo Del Toro a few weeks ago that 'Hellboy' 3 "will not happen", we now know why. The studio has decided to go full reboot.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Millennium studios is in negotiations with producers Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin to reboot the property with Dark Horse Entertainment CEO Mike Richardson also producing. 'Stranger Things' star David Harbour is said to be in negotiations to take the title role. None of the actors from the previous two films, nor Del Toro are said to be involved.
