The 1990 TV movie 'IT' based on Stephen King's novel of the same name terrified a generation and almost single-handedly killed the popularity of clowns. This Halloween, Pennywise is back to do it all again. Warmer Bros have distributed the first footage from the upcoming horror film, and despite looking like ever other modern horror film, it could still be a bit of fun.

Bill Skarsgård will step into the role of the evil Pennywise the dancing Clown for the big-screen remake, in a role previously made famous by 'Rocky Horror Picture Show's Tim Curry. The young supporting cast will include Jaeden Lieberher, Jeremy Ray Taylor and 'Stranger Things' Finn Wolfhard. 'Mama' director Andrés Muschietti has taken the helm.
