KODE5 Heats Up In Taiwan

Another update from the crew behind "KODE5" (the Global Gaming Revolution) has made its way to my inbox this weekend, it covers all the preperations that lead up to "KODE5 Taiwan", where the country's top gamers will clash at COMPUTEX (Asia's Largest Yearly IT show) from June 6 through 10 to determine who's got the goods when it comes to representing their country further down the track.

Taipei, TAIWAN, R.O.C) - April 28, 2006 - Hot on the heels of the KODE5 Germany announcement comes the latest exciting event to join the KODE5 Global Gaming Revolution. KODE5 Taiwan, in cooperation with Aztec Internet Cafe, invites gamers to participate in a series of online qualifiers for Counter-Strike 1.6, Quake 4, and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne. As Taiwan's largest Internet Cafe chain, Aztec offers a superb venue to seek out Taiwan's best gamers. Then, the final four teams and players will slug it out at Asia's largest IT-related trade show - Computex. The KODE5 Global Gaming Revolution, supported globally by Foxconn and Corsair, takes competitive gaming to an international stage with events being held in 20+ countries worldwide.
