A new report from Samsung confirms the previous leaks by Evan Blass that the Galaxy S8 and S8 Edge will pack 3,000 mAh and 3,500 mAh battery.

This means that the S8 will have the same battery capacity as the Galaxy S7, while the S8 Edge will have a slightly smaller battery than the S7 edge which had 3,600 mAh.

The Galaxy S8 will feature a huge 5.8-inch display while the Galaxy S8 Edge will have a massive 6.2-inch screen. Both models will have a curved display.

The device will be powered by Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 835 or Exynos processor, depending on the market. The Galaxy S8 will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage expandable with a microSD card and likely be water resistant.

The phone will also feature a 12MP main camera and an 8MP selfie cam, both with f/1.7 aperture lenses.
