A freshie from GeCUBE today lets us know of a new breed of ATI based video cards from them in the "GECUBE X1600 Gemini Series".

The #1 highlight with these cards is the residing dual-VPU configuration on a single PCB, basically CrossFire from a single PCIe card. The cards are also capable of displaying out to 4 screens simultaneously for one hell of a kickarse setup.

GeCUBE's official announcement has all the details. Unfortunately no images of these unique graphics cards have been provided at this stage but i'm sure we'll see pics floating around once they demo the cards from their booth at CeBIT very soon.

Taipei, 7th March 2006- GECUBE, the major supplier of the world’s leading graphics card brand, today announced the latest GECUBE X1600 Gemini Series High Range graphics card. The GECUBE X1600 Gemini Series inbuilt dual VPU is currently the world’s leading ATI Radeon series with a dual VPU design on a single graphics card. This fully demonstrates GECUBE’s unique creativity and leadership in innovation and design.
